…The Knot
For me, problems that Product solves are like knots. They involve a variety of different things - content, business strategy, technology, user quirks. It all gets thrown together and becomes a knot that other people can’t quite figure out. What is connected, what goes together. It’s my job to untangle the knot - to figure out all the different ways the project connects and lay it out in a way that makes sense. All I want to do is untangle the knot.
…Me
As an accomplished User Experience Strategist with 10 years in the field and an MBA from Kellogg, my expertise centers on the intersection of creating value for end-users and achieving business objectives.
From the outset, I champion user advocacy, specializing in addressing user challenges and devising solutions that align with both business and user needs. Through a thorough understanding of business issues, user concerns, and user personas, I strategically define requirements for diverse user groups. I then articulate these requirements within a unified system by developing user flows and wireframes, showcasing the seamless integration of these elements within the overall user experience.
An advocate for data-driven solutions, my guiding principle is "test frequently and through various means," be it through moderated user testing, unmoderated approaches, or guerrilla testing.
Extending beyond my duties as a UX strategist, I frequently transition into the realm of a Product Manager, demonstrating a strong commitment to fostering holistic awareness among stakeholders. This includes engaging with business leaders and developers, equipping them with the essential tools for success. My approach involves a deep understanding of each role's unique requirements, fostering alignment across the team towards the ultimate solution. As an accomplished User Experience Strategist with 10 years in the field and an MBA from Kellogg, my expertise centers on the intersection of creating value for end-users and achieving business objectives.
